Who is Sid Pocius? Sid (Zydrunas) Pocius's career started at the age of 6 when his mother took him to audition in the famous DanceSport School "Zuvedra" in Lithuania. He became passionately attached to this form of dance from the first introduction. At 13 years of age, Sid won the National Lithuanian DanceSport Championship. He firmly believes that his dance career accelerated tremendously when he was selected, along with his partner, to represent Lithuania on their first trip abroad for juvenile dancers. He continued to travel and represent Lithuania all over Europe. At 18, Sid opened his own dance club, the "Tango" in Lithuania, where he offered many different venues including modeling, fashion, theater and all types of dance. Sid currently lives in the United States (Florida). He continues to coach and train top competitive couples, judges various competitions, as well as choreograph and perform in shows.
